5 Carrot Salads That Are Good For Your Waist

Carrots are a source of useful vitamins, minerals, and trace elements. If you eat this vegetable daily, you can lower cholesterol, prevent atherosclerosis, stroke, and heart attack, as well as strengthen the immune system.

Carrot salads are an excellent food for weight loss and healing of the whole organism. Moreover, it turns out that grated carrots are more useful.

Carrot salad with egg

Ingredients:

  • 4-5 carrots of medium size
  • 5-6 boiled eggs
  • 2-3 a garlic clove
  • 1-2 tbsp sour cream or natural yogurt
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • greens to taste

How to cook?

1. Use a grater with medium holes to grate the carrots.

2. On the same side, grate the egg (you can cut into small cubes).

3. Squeeze the garlic.

4. Add salt and seasoning. Stir. Bon appetit!

Carrot and cabbage salad

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 medium carrots
  • 1/4 part of the average of white cabbage
  • green onions to taste
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp unrefined oil

How to cook?

1. Cut the cabbage, crush it with your hands until soft, add salt.

2. Grate the carrots on the side of the grater with the largest holes.

3. Finely chop the onion (you can choose onions instead of greens).

4. Add spices, oils. Stir. Bon appetit!

Sweet salad of carrots, raisins, and nuts

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium carrots
  • 100 g of raisins
  • 100 g of walnuts
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 100 g of yogurt
  • ground cinnamon on the tip of a spoon

How to cook?

1. Pour boiling water on the raisins in advance and leave to infuse for 10 minutes for steaming.

2. Grate the carrots on a fine grater. Chop the nuts.

3. Make a sauce: mix honey, lemon juice, and cinnamon. In the end, pour in the yogurt.

4. Season the salad with sauce. Leave to cool for 15 minutes in the refrigerator. Bon appetit!

French salad

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium carrots
  • 2 sweet and sour apples
  • 3 hard-boiled eggs
  • 100 g of hard cheese with 17% fat content
  • 1/4 onion
  • 2-3 a garlic clove
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • yogurt to taste

How to cook?

1. Grate eggs, boiled carrots, and peeled apples, as well as cheese.

2. Finely chop the garlic.

3. Also, cut the onion into very small pieces, scald with boiling water, and then place in ice water. Leave for 3 minutes, transfer to a sieve. Now the onion will have no bitterness.

4. Start spreading the salad in layers: 1st layer – onion, 2nd layer – apple, 3rd layer – egg, 4th layer – carrots + garlic, 5th layer – cheese. Layers, of course, alternate with each other.

5. Add the yogurt.

6. Leave in the refrigerator for an hour and a half to infuse. Bon appetit!

A light salad for health

Ingredients:

  • 1 large carrot
  • 1 green apple
  • 1 orange
  • 1/6 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp honey

How to cook?

1. Grate the carrots.

2. Cut the apple into slices.

3. Peel an orange and cut into cubes.

4. Add cinnamon and honey, mix well (you can add nuts and raisins).
